We are reviving our historical self-service concept in 2023!
Did you know that Morris and Ruth Curtis, who homesteaded on this very property in Eagle Point in 1954, started with self-serve honey in 1966 (or earlier, depending on whom you ask), placing the honey jars on an old treadle sewing machine table? The Curtis Family kept the self-serve stand for decades eventually upgrading to an 8 feet by 10 feet self-built tiny log cabin with an old cooler functioning as the shelving system. Many of our long-term customers surely remember this! Payment was all on the honor system.
Times have changed but the self-serve honey stand is back with important improvements, a security system and we now offer all forms of electronic and touchless payment using a convenient QR code to access our account for you. Cash, of course, is always welcome to be deposited in the red lockbox in the Bee Barn. Please remember to bring exact change if you plan to pay cash.
Questions? Call or text (541) 826-7621. Even though we are self-serve, we try to be as interactive as we can, so we will try to help you if we are here.
